Wargaming is building a virtual reality center in the TRNC!

Wargaming and VRTech today announced a new collaboration to establish Neurogaming. Neurogaming will serve as a location-based, global VR game producer and supplier. The first game that Neurogaming has worked on has been the throne of millions of gamers all over the world. It is stated that World War II tank simulation is World of Tanks.

Slava Makarov, a creator of the World of Tanks and a strategic advisor to Neurogaming, says, “We can offer the virtual reality experience through the location-based VR much more affordably and affordably for the end user. We are aiming to be a structure with virtual reality experience that is not short-lived but continuous, able to be played simultaneously with friends and with competitive elements. It is a great and exciting opportunity for us to work with an intellectual property like the World of Tanks and to develop a VR experience for the community of up to 180 million people. ”

 

Neurogaming’s company headquarters will be in Nicosia, Cyprus, and the center-based developer studios will be located in Moscow. The company, which currently has 75 people working in team, aims to open an office in Amsterdam and New York until the end of 2018.

 

As of now, Neurogaming offers fun VR games in fully scalable, location-based stations in malls and cinemas. With this system, called CinemaVR, Neurogaming delivered the VR experience to more than 180,000 players in 36 different locations in the Commonwealth of Independent States in 2017. Neurogaming aims to move into a franchise model in 2018 to create an opportunity for entrepreneurs who want to open their global market and set up their own VR locations.

 

PolygonVR, which works with Neurogaming as a solution partner, focused on converting location-based VR entertainment systems to competitive multi-player experience and eSpor sites, was introduced by Wargaming at Gamescom 2017 and Tokyo Game Show. This platform was developed both by third parties and in support of VR content created within the company. PvP game content is still closed beta, but with second screen support, direct TV, digital and OTT channel capacity, PolygonVR aims to combine location based entertainment with eSpor media platforms in the coming period.
