Freedom Planet, released by GalaxyTrail in 2014, was based on old-style platform games and was admirably adapted to today’s technology. The game, which was further developed in 2015, has become playable on Mac and Linux-based systems as well. GalaxyTrail has made this even further, bringing the Freedom Planet to the Nintendo Wii and Sony Playstation 4 in 2016. Players waiting for the Switch port for a long time may soon expect these requests to happen.
The game inspired by Sonic the Hedgehog is actually quite enjoyable
Freedom Planet, who managed to get high marks on the review scores, looks a lot like Sonic the Hedgehog. GalaxyTrail, who officially stated this to us, is already talking about the great inspiration from Sonic the Hedgehog before the game. Freedom Planet, which separates from the bases of Sonic as it develops, can actually offer a different experience with its different gameplay, but some elements behind it can be found in Sonic the Hedgehog.
We already mentioned that the game was already in Wii U. The ensemble is the Freedom Planet and the Freedom Planet 2, which will soon be on the market as a sequel, to be adapted to the Nintendo Switch. The visual that GalaxyTrail posted on the Facebook page today might prove that this might happen.
