Stardew Valley publisher Chucklefish announced today that they are going to market a new game called Eastward. Eastward, a RYO, developed by Pixpil, a small indie game studio based in Shanghai. The game is described as an adventure game set up in the world on the verge of collapsing with the animations of the 90’s, the series Legend of Zelda and the Mother.
Pixpil and Chucklefish have not told me when the game will be on the market yet
The announcement of the game was made today, but the studios have not commented on when Eastward would be on the market. In the game, the players will check out a young girl named Sam, an employee named John, who should guide through a series of dangerous cities. Although Eastward is passing through a world that has begun to decay with a gradually shrinking human population, the characters you encounter during your journey seem to be interesting and full of life.
Trailer shared for Eastward
Eastward was originally launched in 2015 at TIGSource, the indie game forum. At that time, the studio Pixpil, the developer of the game, consisted of only three people. Now the team has reached 10 members and will be releasing the game with the publisher Chucklefish. You can reach the game trailer from below.
